Transaction Types

Our goal is to solve problems for existing owners by acquiring their non-strategic, under-performing assets which require more management attention and financial resources than are currently available.  We are flexible in our approach, but typically find transactions fall into one of these four categories:

Management Buyouts

We partner with management teams to acquire a company in which they have limited or no current ownership, providing the capital and execution expertise necessary to complete the transaction.

Corporate Divestitures

We acquire, in partnership with an executive or management team, non-strategic divisions or subsidiaries of larger corporations.  We provide our management partners with the financial resources to consummate the transaction as well as the expertise required to establish the business as a stand-alone entity.

Recapitalizations

We pursue transactions where the current owners seek to monetize most of their ownership while retaining meaningful upside based on the future improvement of the business. Through this transaction, owners achieve liquidity today by selling us majority control, while retaining the ability to participate in the future growth of the business.

Growth Equity Investments

We provide equity capital, access to new sources of debt financing, and execution expertise in support of a company’s internal or acquisition-oriented growth plans.
